Chapter 28

  • 21 Jan, 2026

By evening, the palace that had echoed with laughter, music, and endless footsteps slowly began to empty.

One by one, relatives departed—some leaving for their own cities, some heading to the ancestral house, others to hotels nearby. Blessings were exchanged again at the gates, promises to meet soon repeated with tired smiles. Cars disappeared down the long driveway, and with them went the noise, the chaos, the constant presence of people.

    SIN(JJK FF)

She was innocent-but never weak. Soft-spoken, sharp-minded, and dangerously observant, Isabella believed in kindness even when the world showed her cruelty. She didn't belong to darkness. She wasn't built for fear. Yet there was something in her-something unbreakable-that refused to bow. Jungkook was darkness itself. A ruthless mafia boss, feared across cities, a man who didn't ask-he claimed. Power ran through his veins like poison, control was his religion, and mercy was a language he'd long forgotten. Their worlds were never meant to collide. But fate is cruel-and Jungkook never ignores temptation. The moment he sees her, something shifts. Her innocence doesn't soften him-it awakens something dangerous. Her defiance doesn't scare him-it provokes him. And her fear? It tells him one terrifying truth: "You don't belong in my world," he warns her coldly. "Then why won't you let me leave?" she whispers back, trembling but unbroken. He should let her go. She should run. But Jungkook doesn't lose what he wants. His protection feels like a cage. His touch feels like a threat. And his possessiveness grows darker with every breath she takes away from him. "You were never meant to survive me," he murmurs. "Then why do I feel like you're the one who's scared?" she asks, meeting his gaze. In a world ruled by blood, loyalty, and sin, innocence becomes the most dangerous temptation of all. And once Jungkook decides she belongs to him- there is no escape.
